Emergency First Aid
 
The Emergency First Aid course is suitable for those who are required (within the work place) to provide emergency care to patients who are unconscious and not breathing normally before the emergency services arrive. This is also suitable for the lay person who would like to learn Emergency First Aid skills.

This course can be delivered over one day (8-4), assessment is continuous and students are not required to sit an end test. Students must attend all sessions and perform the practical skills in class and prove competent to the accepted standard. A maximum of ten students can attend each course.
 
 
Basic First Aid
 
The Basic First Aid course is suitable for those who are required (within the work place) to provide emergency care to patients and to help them manage specific illnesses and injuries before the emergency services arrive. Paediatric Course
 

The paediatric course is designed to train individuals in the immediate first aid care for infants and children. This course provides the skills required to manage an infant or child that is unconscious, not breathing normally, bleeding and injured prior to the arrival of the emergency services.
