| The Emergency First Aid course
is suitable for those who are required (within the work place)
to provide emergency care to patients who are unconscious and
not breathing normally before the emergency services arrive.
This is also suitable for the lay person who would like to learn
Emergency First Aid skills. |

over one day (8-4), assessment is continuous and students are
not required to sit an end test. Students must attend all sessions
and perform the practical skills in class and prove competent
to the accepted standard. A maximum of ten students can attend
each course. |

in the immediate first aid care for infants and children. This
course provides the skills required to manage an infant or child
