Mission Statement

KTS Medical Division is dedicated to provide a professional service to all our clients. Highly trained and motivated staff can provide Internationally Recognised First Aid Training; assist you with the Health and Safety needs of your company and to provide a professional service to assist organisations in the provision of on-site medical facilities for all field employees.

Emergency First Aid

The Emergency First Aid course is suitable for those who are required (within the work place) to provide emergency care to patients who are unconscious and not breathing normally before the emergency services arrive. This is also suitable for the lay person who would like to learn Emergency First Aid skills.

This course can be delivered over one day (8-4), assessment is continuous and students are not required to sit an end test. Students must attend all sessions and perform the practical skills in class and prove competent to the accepted standard. A maximum of ten students can attend each course.

Basic First Aid

The Basic First Aid course is suitable for those who are required (within the work place) to provide emergency care to patients and to help them manage specific illnesses and injuries before the emergency services arrive. This course is also suitable for the lay person who wishes to have improved first aid skills.

This course can be delivered over three days (8-4), practical assessment is continuous and students are required to sit an end test. An overall mark of 80% must be achieved to pass the course. A maximum of ten students can attend each course.

Paediatric Course

The paediatric course is designed to train individuals in the immediate first aid care for infants and children. This course provides the skills required to manage an infant or child that is unconscious, not breathing normally, bleeding and injured prior to the arrival of the emergency services.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Course

This course is designed to train company staff and individuals in Basic Life Support and the use of the AED machine.

This course can be delivered over one day (8-4), assessment is continuous, students are required to sit an end test, and must achieve 80% to pass the course. A maximum of six students can attend each course.

Vacancies

We are currently looking for Male Nurses, with Ministry of Health (Oman) licence, to work at our clinics in the Oil Fields. Candidates would ideally be fluent in English, both written and spoken, have some knowledge of Arabic and be computer literate.
